All items are inspected before shipment. Because these are wood products there may be variations in color, there may be mineral streaks, there may be tiny knots or there may be small splits in the plywood face veneer. Depending upon the design, there could be some warping because of stresses between the plywood layers. In general these conditions are not considered defects if they do not significantly affect the aesthetics of the piece. Some pieces will require light sanding to remove rough edges or to smooth out face veneer that has gotten wrinkled in the manufacturing process. If any items are received in damaged condition Artistic Wood Appliques must be notified within 72 hours of receipt. Upon verification of a legitimate claim, Artistic Wood Appliques at its option will either ship replacement product or issue a refund. Items in general are not returnable. If a return is needed, contact us. Returns are sent back at customer expense, and shipping costs are not refundable.
